How Do I Get Started?

Simply Click on the Request Service button at the upper right.

What's Included

  • OIT will help with the configuration of licensed software on your OSU computer.
  • If you are having trouble with software execution OIT will assist with troubleshooting issues and will work to get the program/app working properly.

Eligibility

OIT provides technical support for all college-owned computers. This includes computers used by active EHE faculty and staff members as well as those used by graduate and undergraduate student employees.

Special Considerations

  • OIT does not provide support for personally owned computers and software. This includes troubleshooting remote connectivity to college resources from a personally owned computer.
  • OIT cannot know how every program and application in use in the College works.  OIT will make sure the program starts up and behaves properly on the installed computer only.  The actual use of the program is up to the individual user.
  • OIT will not install or support 3rd party cloud software/apps that have not been approved by the OCIO Assessment Working Group (secAWG)
